In Stephen Hamilton v R [2014] EWCA Crim 1555 (22nd July 2014) the Court of Appeal heralded the forthcoming changes to the Criminal Procedure Rules and The Criminal Practice Direction in relation to expert evidence, and provided a reminder about when the Court will and will not admit expert evidence, particularly in relation to the credibility of witnesses.
